Towards Openness 2017 Year Roundup
Over the last year, we facilitated critical conversations around the use of technology in learning and teaching under the theme of Towards Openness. We organized a workshop at #OER17 in London and are about to continue working on our ideas and practice at #OEB17 in Berlin, always in different constellations of people.
Towards Openness seems to evolve as a theme and initiative into different shapes and formats. It is a place for workshops, for the development of ideas on-site and online and it is a place where we get to ask hard questions. It is starting to become a small source of resources and provocations around the use of tech in teaching and learning.
So what’s next? We’d like to engage in a conversation about Towards Openness, even though that can feel a bit self-centered. We’d like to take a look back at the year and we wouldd also like to see where Towards Openness might take us next. For this, we’d like to invite you to join us in a YouTube Live session. We don’t think it should last any longer than one hour.
It will take place on Tuesday 19th December. We have suggested two times of 16:00 UTC or 20:00 UTC. If you’re interested, please can you submit your availability on this Doodle poll: https://doodle.com/poll/qfh4ium7568wrrqp
