Conference Workshops

In 2016, we started to facilitate workshops following the #TowardsOpenness ethos as part of our agenda setting initiative to instigateneed-based interdisciplinary, multi-stakeholder, original research conversations to build new priorities and agenda for connected learning through distributed and collaborative research.”

Conference workshops are a way for us to receive direct feedback regarding the ideas and principles of #TowardsOpenness, their practicality for different stakeholder groups as well as ourselves. The direct and indirect exchange with other researchers and activists in the field of open and connected learning could not be valued any higher, even though communities like Virtually Connecting help in bridging gaps of accessibility.

Resources and conversations were both developed for and as a product of conference workshops.
